Short Bio

My name is Lisa Marx. I started my Bachelor in Biotechnology at RWTH Aachen (Germany) in 2009. In 2012 I went abroad to NTNU Trondheim (Norway) to write my Bachelor thesis about chitosan-degrading enzymes. Then I returned to Aachen to continue my studies in the consecutive Master of Biotechnology. In my last year of studies, I got the chance to conduct my master thesis project at “Forschungszentrum Juelich” in Jun. Prof. Dörthe Rother´s group optimizing and upscaling an enzymatic process. I am now thrilled to continue research in this field of biotechnology as a PhD-student at KTH (Stockholm, Sweden) as an ESR in the BIOCASCADES-project.
